Day 1: Bucharest – Prahova Valley – Bolboci Lake – Scropoasa Lake – Sinaia – Plaiul Foii

Pick up from your hotel and start the journey by crossing Prahova Valley to Bucegi Mountains Plateau, visiting Bolboci Lake – known as “The Sea of Bucegi” and Scropoasa Lake, a transparent gem located in Ialomita Valley. Lunch time will be provided at a special restaurant in Sinaia. After lunch, you will visit Peles Castle, the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family. Considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, the construction is impressive thanks to the architectural style and decorations, but most of all thanks to the beautiful interior design and the modern facilities for the last half of the XIXth century (electricity, vacuum cleaner, electrical elevator and central heating).
If Peles Castle is closed, you will explore Diham Cottage and go to Plaiul Foii, a wonderful place near Zarnesti town, for a welcome dinner with traditional food and accommodation. Spend the night in a special 3* lodge/hotel in Plaiul Foii.

Day 2: Plaiul Foii – Valea Azugii – Rentea – Brasov –Holbav- Plaiul Foii

After breakfast, you will continue the off-road adventure tour in Rentea – Baiului Mountains giving you the chance to admire breathtaking landscapes. Then, you will visit the beautiful city of Brasov (Kronstadt, under its German name). Founded by the Saxons in the XIIIth century, the city preserves a charming medieval atmosphere with a tumultuous story. Here you will walk on the narrow and cobblestone streets of the old city center. You will see The Council Square, The Council Tower, The famous Black Church (the largest Gothic construction in Eastern part of Europe).
Lunch at a cozy restaurant in Brasov. After lunch, we will continue our off road journey through Barsa Land (Tara Barsei). After a full day in the middle of the nature, we head back to our lodge in Plaiul Foii for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Plaiul Foii – Zarnesti – Magura – Bran Castle– Simon – Bucuresti

We begin the day with optional hike in Zarnesti Canyon. The stunning views of Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains and the “spread” traditional villages stay with us along our journey. You will have the opportunity to visit Bran Castle that is considered to be among the 10 most beautiful medieval castles in the world. Lunch will be arranged in a traditional restaurant in Bran area. Then, we will visit the Simon Hermitage located in a very beautiful place. Away from the noisy world, here you will discover another face of Romania, a fairytale corner with spectacular landscapes. On our way back to Bucharest, we will pass through traditional villages giving you a unique experience with some fantastic photo opportunities. In the evening, you will leave the beautiful mountain landscapes behind and return to Bucharest.
